Why do Democrats crave defeat?

You want a true story?

Abe Lincoln once made a speech to a large audience. He said, "You can fool some of the people all of the time, and you can fool all of the people some of the time, but you can't fool all of the people all of the time."

The audience laughed, and laughed. You know why? After all these people were movers and shakers, politicians and mass media people, a sophisticated bunch.

It is simple. Every one in the audience knew the punch line of that joke, the punchline Abe so carefully left out. The punchline? Sure. "But you can always fool enough of the people enough of the time."

Those people know exactly, exactly, what they are doing.

Also, what we are seeing is totally normal Left behavior. Too many historical examples to count. Probably the most interesting is the post World War One period, not only in Europe but in the United States.

Yeah, Argentina, Spain, even Mexico besides Germany, Italy, Russia, and France. Remember the Red Decade in American politics.

Why do Democrats crave defeat?

Because they still believe in the "peace dividend."

Democrats dislike the military, and believe that funds spent on national defense are better spent on government programs for the needy, which is everyone in their eyes.

Any use of military force that commits the USA to multi-year spending takes away from the "peace dividend" that the Left wishes it could spend on their own pet projects. Therefore, they try to bring a quick end to any military actions (spending).

There are really THREE different groups at work here...

Washington Limo-Elite Democrats-

They see an American defeat as thier ticket to absolute, unchallenged power, like they had in the 70's.

The MASSIVE amounts of foriegn and Uber-Rich moonbat cash flowing into thier coffers from Anti-War folks the world over, is supporting thier DC Lifestyles of Mansions, Limos, Private Jets, and Parties...

That stuff doesn't come cheap...

Radical Socialists/Chomskiites/Communists-

Interchangable with many of the people above, Stalinists/Lenninists/Maoists/Chomskiites the world over see this as the one chance to end American (and Capitalist) domination, and begin the process of wealth redistribution and shared sacrifice (For everybody BUT them) to other nations.

MASSIVE Arab cash is being poored into these people. They are THE USEFUL IDIOTS of the entire process, and are far too stupid to see it...

The Moonbat Liberal Left-

While many of the moonbats could also fall into either category, many simply see this as a huge internet game of "Grand Theft Auto" where they can play the bad guy, with no fear of reprisal...

Right now I'm spending some time with a severely wounded Soldier. Your words are so true. I have no idea how to stop the Left's assault. Like you I'm disgusted. Worse yet, my Congressman's brother was the agent for Micheal Moore's F 9/11 which is now being used by our foreign enemies in their recruiting movies. Is there anything that we can do?
