He's got my support.

Of course he does. Somehow all the people who can't possibly win have the support of freepers.

From the stories I've heard, Tancredo should be criss-crossing Iowa in an old Chevy and eating bags of peanuts and he would do better than the top three. GOP candidates are getting hammered everywhere they go in the state about illegal immigration. It also doesn't seem that Iowans are hearing anything they like so far.

I think he drives a newer Chevy truck. Saw him on the road a few weeks ago.

Good for him and for us. While I doubt even he thinks he can win, his presence in the debates will be a good thing.

He'd be better as the new head of DHS, with free reign.

LoL
Really?

Must piss the leftists off when they adopt that philosophy eh!? I seem to remember "freepers" supporting both George Bush's and before FR existed, Ronald Reagan; and guess what... ALL THREE WON!

Tancredo has grassroots support. The majority of the American people agree with him and if the American people can stop coddling the left and stand behind Tancredo's tough rhetoric and rock solid conservative principles we may well have a candidate Conservatives can be proud of. Not some weak kneed left leaning moderate globalist hell bent on destroying the United States of America.

I noticed at CPAC that he's spiffed up his appearance, more ready for primetime. He had some well-prepared remarks and clearly had mastered his topics. He was energetic and was a more attractive candidate than in the past.

It's not a beauty pageant. But everything helps.

I think it's too bad that the borders crowd has split itself among three House candidates (Hunter, Tancredo, Paul), all longshots because they're running as congressmen. It makes it so unlikely they can do anything more then destroy each others' chances. And with three of them splitting that vote, none might have enough standing in the polls to be in the major debates.

No, he's my Representative. I've seen him around town for at least eight years.

Why are you such a troll anyway? You talk like the DUmmies.

If you don't like conservatives, go find yourself a Republican board.

Okay. Cool. I already liked him. But now that I know he actually drives a Chevy, I'm behind him 100 percent!

Reagan was already a nationally well known figure, Bush Senior was a GOP leader who had been Vice President twice, and Bush Jr. had the family name and had been Governor of Texas. Hardly unknown figures and none of them were Congresscritters looking for attention.

Good news! If we'd all stop thinking of him as the candidate who can't win, maybe he could.

HAHAHA, You may be right but the way I see it... if a fat headed peanut farmer and a rapist can come from no where to be elected president, a man like Tancredo can win if good decent people will believe he can and get off their loins and vote.

Of course this is just my opinion.

You're right, conservatives need to pick one. If Thompson gets in though, the choice will have been made.

Amen. I think he has a lot more support than the powers that be are giving him credit for.

It won't always be that way. I suspect that Paul first and then Tancredo will drop out and endorse Hunter once they feel that they've gotten a fair hearing in a couple of debates.
