As a Pennsylvanian, I really hope that we can get a conservative to run against him in the primary. Six more years of this liberal would be unbearable.

IIRC he has to announce his intention to run again in order to raise money with his PAC. Could be just a poitical ploy for fundraising means.

came so close to knocking him out in the '04 primary. it is certainly possible to achieve this goal with the proper candidate and proper financing, but it will be extremely difficult.
