I hope they just kill the bastids, or let the mob hang'em and beat'em with shoes. We don't need war crimes trials, we need dead terrorists.

That's an ancient phrase from Chinese.

Is that Chinese? I know a guy that has "QUOD NE ME DESTRUIT ME NUTRUIT" tatooed across his rib cage. It is Latin, literally "what does not destroy me feeds me."

They don't seem to be taking it very serial. Fox Radio today had it third in their hourly headlines. I haven't heard them mention it on the boob toob at all.

For one thing,Our Prime minister Mr. John Howard could NOT be labelled as spineless because at this very moment is reviewing our troops on the ground IN Iraq.(Yes that's right -he's right in the thick of it.)
I think he's got more balls to be a leader of a country than anyone else I know!(That includes G.W.)
I did have concerns for him when he was travelling on a c-130 transport from the Aussie base into Bagdad to meet with the Iraq P.M.,because the plane filled with thick smoke after takeoff, requiring everyone aboard to don gas masks.
It would be disastrious for Australia to lose a great leader in such circumstances.Thank god the plane landed safely and no one was harmed.

As an American, I appreciate your passion, and salute your Prime Minister John Howard, and the bravery of of the soldiers from Australia.

Also, as an American, do not disparage the President of the most powerful nation in the world.

He has a name, George Walker Bush.

Bless you and yours.

"How so troll?

Lol, how trite. Are you the official "Troll-Buster" of all criticism of thew President? Try this on for size:

George W. Bush must be thanked and lauded for the most expensive "hit" in the history of mankind -- $1,000,000,000,000 dollars to get rid of Saddam Hussein. Was worth it?

Impressive FUBAR quagmire war still raging in Iraq (um, what was/is the "Mission" again? Is it still "Nation Building"?)

Impressive unauthorized NAU/SPP scam. Nice corrolative Emminent Domain abuse (for the Trans Texas Corridor). That falls in the lap of the CiC. (as IF you have a clue what's going on).

Impressive border security. Nice BS regarding "NO AMNESTY" (welcome 30,000,000 Squatters). And "Immigration Reform"? Is THAT what he's calling it?

Impressive kissing the tushes of Fox, Calderone, Kennedy, Pelosi, AND Bubba Clinton. Or haven't you noticed? Everyone else has. How undignified.

Impressive choice in the corrupt Attorney General Gonzo-Gonzalez (who's about to either be fired or indicted).

Impressive outsourcing middle-class jobs.

Impressive handling of NK, Iran and Syria (duh -- WHAT "Axis of Evil"??)

Impressive demolition of the Republican Party by this nitwit when the GOP was DOMINATING the House and Senate.

Deny the Titanic is going down, but maybe you two can refute a "legacy" that makes even Clinton's Presidency seem like Teddy Roosevelt's?

Please do your best impression of Tony Snow and his mini-me Tony instead of playing "Troll" police.

I'll be waiting with baited breath.

"If you hadn't realized a long time ago that Saddam moved all the WMD's to Syria....he had plenty of time....you aren't thinking."

At one time that was plausible.

So IF true, why the hell aren't we kicking @ss in Syria?? Afterall, they ARE part of the Axis of Evil, aren't they?

Time for Ramadi and Fallujah to be evacuated and turned to rubble.

Not worth one more American casaulty ever.

There's plenty of open sand around them to rebuild.

Send the inhabitants to Kurdistan.

They don't take no Shiite from anybody, on rainy days or Sunni days.

"Is that sarcasm in your reply?? If not, I would suggest to you that the evidence PROVES that the Clintonistas and the Dems are WMD's..... but I guess we'll never know since Sandy stole the evidence."

Please stop being so d@mn naive.

Do you really think Sandy Burglar was actually able to just waltz out with privied High Security Docs during the 9/11 investigation WITHOUT the knowledge, aiding and abetting of the Bush DoJ, FBI, and NSA??

And to add injury to insult NO investigation into Burglar's thievery was ever suggested or demanded.

Don't you find that ODD??

If it stinks like rotting fish.....And RIGHT from the top.

The Democrats would demand an End To The War after Al Qaeda detonated a nuclear warhead on the American mainland. The Left refuses to acknowlege the existence of pure evil. They gas Iraqis today; tomorrow they'll barbeque Americans. We have been placed on the notice. This is the true face of the enemy.

A style of attack that gets more "news" coverage.

It's all about the "news".

IIRC, a Canadian unit survived a chlorine gas attack by breathing through urine soaked cloth, though I imagine they could see it coming and had the time to drain bladders.

Hey Mr. Troll Policeman....

I'm still awaiting your brilliant rebuttal to my answer at way back at post #47.

Unless of course 3-word hit & run sentences are your specialty.

Wow. I must have struck a troll nerve.

I agree with you about the immigration complaint and kissing Dem butt.

The rest are stock Democratic talking points.

Regarding Iraq, call me in 10 years with your opinion, the final result is all that matters.

This debacle will NEVER be settled the way it was evisioned when America first waged this ill-advised war -- your 10 years of waiting before committing to an opinion notwithstanding...

So the $1,000,000,0000,000 (one-trillion) tab and thousands of brave American deaths and casualties JUST for Saddam's ouster and implimenting a "Democratic" Muslim political system was worth it in your opinion?

Oooo-kay, lol.

I'm reserving opinion until the dust settles. May take a decade.

You can read the future I guess. You should get a gig in the circus.

The only relevent question at this point is : do we pull out or try to finish the job? I would say finish it and then let the chips fall...

I would assume you support finishing what we started or, because you "support the troops" < /Dem talking point>, you would support leaving now?

"The only relevent question at this point is : do we pull out or try to finish the job? I would say finish it and then let the chips fall..."

This issue depends on how we "finish the job." How would YOU define it?

The President and our people have had almost 4 years to train Iraqi Law Enforcement and Armed Forces in order to have THEM get THEIR house in order. They clearly haven't at this juncture, have they? Maybe they just don't want it bad enough. That's a miscalculation that falls squarely on this Administration, no matter how you slice it.

I don't support announcing an official deadline for withdrawal, but enough is enough. It's sink or swim time for Iraq and it's people.

When we occupied Germany and Japan, our people weren't clay pigeons. Then again, they weren't Muslims either. But this became the BIGGEST problem in Iraq. RESPECT. Our RoE were stupendously lame.

Now had we razed Fallujah in the FIRST place, we'd have sent a message that needed to be sent, but wasn't.

"I would assume you support finishing what we started or, because you "support the troops" < /Dem talking point>, you would support leaving now?"

Cut the "dem talking points," zarfly -- it's old and tired.

Now all you and the Bush Administration have to do is figure a way out of this mess without giving the impression that $1 trillion dollars and 25,000 casualties wasn't all for naught. That's gonna be one tall order.
