I heard a couple of folks who referenced the GoE. John Uvaldi of Move America Forward is live now.
I have to give credit for the calm, reasonable tone struck buy the hosts and guests. On the left and right, the shout-fest in much of the media creats a lot of heat but little light. Agree or disagree, Reppenhagen was a gentleman, and so is Uvaldi, and that's how it ought to be.
It's one of the many thing I like about C-SPAN Washington Journal . . . It ain't "Hardball."

I agree, whole-heartedly. And that's why it's on CSPAN (Cable and Satellite Public Affairs Network -- okay, I'm just showing off) instead of someplace that cares about ratings and wants some fireworks. Sad, but true. Washington Journal is slow-moving, calm, pre-first-cup-of-coffee kind of stuff -- informative, but not exciting.
A commercial cable or broadcast net would have had Reppenhagen and Ubaldi on the set a the same time so they could shout at each other. CSPAN has them on in turn, each free to make his case for a good long time, not interrupted by ads or stepped on by the host. I like that approach. It's good for an informed democracy, and a valuable resource for the relatively few folks who make use of it.
Okay - you were on earlier. They seemed to NOT want to understand where the lies were.
