Of course we are being preemptive, and occupying the enemy's resources on his turf, not ours.

We are attempting to provide political democracy and economic opportunity for those who would otherwise have too much poor quality time to crystalize bitterness against us the Great Satan.

The best aspect may be the strategic: our positions in Iraq and Afghanistan flank Iran, putting us in position to move on the premier state sponsor of terrorism.

The major problem in Iraq has been the constriction of rules of engagement, the overzealousness of incompetent and arrogant NCIS investigators, the treason media, the treason party (e.g. Turban Durbin) joined on such nonissues as abu Ghraib by John Oh-the-torture McCain.

We are only now kicking ass wholesale, and may the success ramp up as the "insurgent" bodies pile up.

While Mark Steyn writes America Alone, it's good to know, "One riot, one Ranger."

I am convinced Tehran's Monkey Boy's term will be shorter than that of our 43d president.

I'm sick of it. The republicans actually lost my vote. I couldn't vote democrat or socialist or whatever they call themselves this week.

From here on out, it's going to be constitution or libertarian. And no, it's not a wasted vote. The numbers will increase over the decades until hopefully, all the socialist are flushed from government.

Agree with most of all your post above - Outside of the notion that only now are we starting to to kick as$ wholesale.

That ain't true by a long shot. We've been systematically and deliberately destroying AQ, their mimics and others that wish us harm 24/7 over the past 5 years.....That includes inside of Iraq...

You can't fix the problem with the same mind that created it.
