Real estate is a "leading indicator" in our economy. This could really be a bad ride with lots of people walking away from homes. In California, property taxes are going to plummet. I discussed that a year ago on KGO in San Francisco.

The only thing that kept Coli-fornia solvent in the last three years is the dramatic increase in real estate and the property tax reassessments. California is going to have a mess.

Given you description, I do see DJIA suddenly crash under 10,000 in no time flat. Might want to start looking at investing in gold and any gold-related stocks.

I wanted to listen to in on the web and not only you have to subscribe, but it's not a free, but a paid subscription of $54.95 for a year!
They are delusional.
In Los Angeles, what is the waveband for KFI? Is is 640 or 740 AM? It's something like that, but don't know exactly.

I don't believe this doom and gloom. This could happen, IF interest rates would rise fairly quickly and payment on all those adjustable mortgages would go up signicantly. But long term interest rates are not rising, so this is completely overblown.
He is just talking about recession, well in that case interest rates could even drop, lowering people's payments.
