You want proof of global warming come to Tampa. Its been in the low 80s here. Gets real warm at the beach with all those bikinis this spring break time of year.
Actually, that term has been around quite awhile, as has "the Goracle", and "Saint Gore"...
It's -24 this morning.
That whole greening, back to nature, living in the wild, out among the tundra certain lost it's appeal real fast.

Actually, a thin layer of hot water will freeze faster in sub-freezing temps than cold water. But I don't think the geometries support that conclusion for ice-cubed shaped volumes of water, so the conventional wisdom applies there.
