The article states ...in so many words...Willy Mays was a talentless lucky bum whose abbility to play baseball was based on the daily temperature.....The article was more concerned with the loss of sports stadiums....To hell with the millions of displaced people from Florida to Maine...(No flooding in Canada or the rest of the World) as long as we have the modern Portable Sports Stadiums that can be assembled/disassembled and moved as needed...

updating..... Today's Indians doubleheader vs. Seattle is postponed

http://www.wkyc.com/news/news_article.aspx?storyid=65630

CLEVELAND --- The Cleveland Indians announced today's April 8th traditional doubleheader between the Indians and Seattle Mariners is postponed due to inclement weather.
A traditional doubleheader will be played tomorrow, Monday, April 9, beginning at 4:05PM. Gates will open at 3:00PM. The second game will begin approximately 20 minutes after the conclusion of the first game.
Fans holding tickets dated Monday, April 9th will be treated to two games for the price of one. Fans holding tickets for the April 8th doubleheader may exchange them for any of the remaining home games this season at Jacobs Field beginning with tomorrow's April 9th traditional doubleheader.

**SCHNIPP**

The scheduled Doubleheader MIGHT take place today, if it stops snowing frozen H2O in Cleveland...

Anyone know if AlGore had tickets to the opener in Cleveland last week?? It seems everywhere he shows up lately, gets hit with another blizzard...
