The Elysian Fields may well be blocked to the likes of thee and me: real estate prices being what they are. And I refuse to pay Charon the ferryman to go cross-town into Hades: definitely down-market. And, the cab fare is rather expensive, given the circumstaces...

Valhalla, on the other hand, awaits! There, in a few years hence (may they yet be long delayed!) we shall send our forwarding addresses to brave Odysseus and Achilles, and invite them to join us in a pint-or-three of fine mead! We shall already be in good company.
