I don't think adultery should be a crime in any way at all.

Note to self - don't let the wife hang around this guy...

:)

Do I have to have enviromental impact statements to have an opinion?

I have no intention of satisfying every hypothetical you can conceive of. The cop doesn't really cares why you're speeding, and frankly, neither do I.

I do think that adultery is very wrong. I just don't think it's among the worst things a person can do, especially if there are no children involved.

I certainly don't think it should be a criminal matter, though. My original point was that I know Freepers who consider adultery and murder comparable crimes that should have comparable punishments. I consider that position to be whacked out, and pointed out that stands like this tend to alienate average folks from those of that brand of the faith.

I just wanted to be clear that you think adultery should be considered a crime, with incarceration as a punishment for it. And I think you said it shouldn't be a capital crime, like murder, but I am unsure about that.

That's part of the mentality that alienates people from some vocal self-identified Christians. That was part of my larger point.

Liberals have a history of attacking imaginary enemies while trying to ignore real enemies.

Ain't that the truth!

Mostly they hate Christianity because it does not agree with their predelictions.

Never mind that the muslims would hang them by the neck just for being 'queer'.

I'm not religious, but I have nothing but RESPECT for my Christian neighbors, including Catholics and Mormons, along with Protestants.

I can live with that. Christ said from the very beginning our enemies would be members of our own families.

I can live with it, too. So long as you don't try to actually change to law to match your vision.

I don't think you have anything to worry about, though you can oppose me all you'd like if I get close ;o)
