Fred Thompson/ Rick Santorum.
smart minds think alike
So a SINGLE man dates a lot of women.
And you have a problem with that? WTF are you?
id like to see a Rudy/Fred ticket.
bwaa haaa haa haa
Not that I care, I wish I had that kind of action.
However, to the ninnies it may be a factor.
I don't think he's the religious Jimmy Swaggart however.
Ping a ding.. :).. :)
Reagan had Nancy knocked up before he married her,, oh my heavens!!!!!!!!
I have heard Thompson speak a few times and I was always impressed. I was very sorry when he dropped out of politics.
that will help him with men voters.
My guess is he dated classy women who won't rush out of the trailer park and tell.
Bimbo eruptions only apply to married men.
Unless he was a harasser.
On June 29, 2002, Thompson married Jeri Kehn, a political media consultant at the Verner, Liipfert, Bernhard, and McPherson law firm in Washington, D.C. She once worked for the Senate Republican Conference and the Republican National Committee. In October 2003, they had a daughter, Hayden Victoria Thompson. He also has three grown children, one of whom is deceased, from a previous marriage, and five grandchildren.
Does this mean he is also divorced and remarried?
Lori Morgan is classy? I think she's destroyed more marriages than you've had hot dinners.

I like that!!! Fred Thomson would be a great candidate!!!
its just one thing after another. nothing short of celibacy is acceptable.
Is Howard Baker worse than James Baker? I get those two confused some times.
Thompson isn't, or at leat doesn't appear to me, to be a highly ideological conservative. He does seem to be a man of principles, who stands by them regardless of where they lead. It means his voting record isn't lock-step, but it does seem predictable and not governed by political considerations.
If so, his record is very encouraging, because we wouldn't be too dissappointed if he lived up to what he says and has done.
With Rudy, you pray he won't be true to his principles. With Romney, you pray he will be true to what he says now, and not what he said a decade ago.
With McCain, you pray he won't go insane, assuming he isn't already insane.
Thompson is definitely on my list of considered candidates, along with Romney, then Brownback, then Gilmore and Hunter, although I'm not committing to that order yet.
If I was going to go with a no-name candidate who I thought was qualified, it would probably be Gilmore, he was a Governor, an RNC chair, a solid conservative, well-spoken, and with good conservative credentials. His executive experience and leadership in several positions puts him above Duncan Hunter for me, although I doubt he's electable.
Talk about throwing up a strawman.
Rudy was a huge supporter of CFR.
