Mr. Savage suggested via e-mail to the Committee that perhaps the conventional wisdom of the university should be challenged and proposed four current conservative books: "The Marketing of Evil" by David Kupelian, "The Professors" by David Horowitz, "Eurabia: The Euro-Arab Axis" by Bat Yeor, and "It Takes a Family" by Senator Rick Santorum. Well -- no wonder the excrement hit the fan. The left wing fascists in academia make no allowance for contrary viewpoints from their own.

Would it be ethical to list the e-mail addresses of these professors that we might respectfully let them know what we think?

"...21-0 faculty vote on March 13, 2006, to be formally investigated for "sexual harassment." ..."
What this REALLY means is:
by 21-0 faculty elitists CONFESS homosexuality is
ONLY about recreational SEX!

Welcome to the New Totalitarians. Universities used to be bastions of free speech, where ideas were debated, using logic and the inherent ability for (most) humans to find a mutually agreeable substrate of reality.
Not anymore, they are fascist/communist enclaves of absurdity, funded by taxpayers, brainwashing the youth with self-destructive notions, etc. etc.

I really don't care about what gays do. Not so long ago I did care if they were my co-workers or my neighbors.
But....recently...these guys are really getting to me. They are bullies! Before long, it will be a crime to be Christian.
1) There was the Chicago psychologist who was fired from his job because he once ( in the past) belong to a Christian organization that opposed homosexuality.
2) There is this case of the librarian at OSU.
3) The homosexuals are pushing their agenda on kids in the government schools.
4)The students ( and teachers) on campus who are threatened with expulsion if they even breathe a suggestion that homosexuality may have harmful consequences.
5) I am tired of homosexuals burdening the taxpayers with diseases that a completely and entirely avoidable, and are due entirely to their lack of sexual restraint.

All,
SafeLibraries.org discussed this back when it happened. Now we will have to update what we have written:
We wrote:
Truth is Stranger Than Fiction - where we said, among other things,
So pushing porn on children is perfectly acceptable but a librarian recommending college students read conservative books, thereby making professors feel 'unsafe,' is sexual harassment. Does this not outrage you totally?"

has filed a defamation lawsuit against the accusing faculty members.Awesome. Fight back. Liberals are too used to people with values rolling over and playing dead when they are attacked. I hope that you win enough off of them to retire and start funding more lawsuits like this.

Jones then took the further step of sending a private e-mail to Mr. Savages supervisor, Library Director Beth Burns, questioning the integrity of the library staff and implicitly attacking Mr. Savage's professionalism. Jones also sent an e-mail to the campus Dean, threatening to look for other work and explicitly denigrating Mr. Savage's professionalism in suggesting the book. Jones then sent another e-mail to the Committee attacking Mr. Savage's academic opinions.Typical hate filled liberal with WAY too much time on his hands. This is how they get their way - shrill, dishonest, attacks until superiors cave and give them their way.

THE NYTimes, the newspaper of record, the guardian of free speech, the newspaper that will assign multiple reporters to expose CIA and government secrets...will never report this story. (or if they do, it will be hidden, below the fold, on page D18).

You know, I never really wanted much from life. Growing up, I just thought I would be so happy to just marry and raise a family. Go to the beach,, build a tree house for the kids,, live and let live. In my nature,, I really don't like politics at all. I don't want to be the one to speak out about anything. I don't want to make waves,, cause trouble,, get noticed that much. I remember wondering when I was younger, while looking through those Time Life books,, the WWII ones,, lots of black and white photos of the war,, I used to wonder how a nation could actually have a Hitler rise to power.
I never thought in a million years I would be looking at my own nation and wondering seriously if it could happen here.
But here it is. The barbarians have already come through the gate and are pounding down the walls of our homes. There really is no longer a choice about whether or not to "get involved." We have to be political.

"As a gay man I have long ago realized that the world is full of homophobic, hate-mongers who, of course, say that they are not." And you, in your wisdom, say that we are, so must be true I suppose.
Savage should have also recommended Robert Bork's Slouching Towards Gomorrah to top off the reading list.
