Actually, Billy Redden was a non-inbred, fairly normal -- albeit funny-looking -- kid.

I was raised as an only child, too.
I just don't have a feel for the degree of wrongness associated with it.
I think it's 100% wrong too, but feelings don't have a right or wrong. It's how you act on them that is right or wrong, IMO. They are taking it too far having a conjugal relationship and having children together.
Still I see your point, and I suppose I do feel bad for them on some level, but still....
I feel sorry for them that they have those feelings for each other in the first place. However I feel much more sorry for the children (2 out of 4 have disabilities).
The Quran strictly forbids blood-relation incest, and extends that to family that's not blood related (foster parents, etc.). Of course, this has been interpreted away by Muslim "scholars" who want to get their jollies.

really? while living in asia i had muslim neighbors who married their daughter to her uncle. in fact apparently in south asia the joke is you can tell a muslim in a village by looking for the family with a retarded child.
Really. Practices often don't conform to the text. It gets interpreted according to what the locals think is right.
We see this even here, with us always yelling at Congress, "What part of 'shall not be infringed' do you not understand?"
