If he's seeking asylum, that'g good. If he was kidnapped, that works for me too.

Ah....the poor Iranians lost a top General to the evil 'western' powers. Too bad, so sad.

Read something about him defecting. Great news if true. Too bad we won't find out as he will be squirreled away in some safe house.

A director-general from the (foreign) ministry has traveled to Turkey (to follow up the case).

Maybe he will "defect" too.

I believe Jack Bauer is involved.

Jack was last seen in Istanbul carrying a cigar clipper.

Well is the kidnapping had been the other way around, the general would be minus a head about now.

But in this case, the worst ramification is he might be sporting panties on his head.

He fell on a hail of bullets then fell to his death from a 200 ft cliff. You know, an "accident".

We can just tell the Iranian nut-job that the General found out the Madhi is set to climb up a well in Quincy instead of Qom. So he won't be back to Iran until the well-watch is over in Illinois.

He is seeking asylum in the United States after disappearing in Turkey in February, Arabic daily al-Sharq al-Awsat reported March 6, citing high-level sources. Asghari reportedly was not abducted but left voluntarily.

If he had something to do with the disappearnce of Arad and the killing of our guys in Iraq, he won't be getting asylum here.
More likely he's been flown off by the CIA for questioning at an undisclosed location.
