The man hasnt even been sentenced yet and already the Democrats want him executed at dawn.

This veiled threat to Mr. Bush is a waste of time, Mr. Bush wouldnt pardon libby anyway. Although he ought to and then hang out Fitzgerald out to dry.

And what makes ANY of this the business of the Senate Majority Leader regardless of whether Libby is innocent or guilty as sin? The Democrats never cease to amaze me with their attitude that they should be in control of everything and everybody including the decisions the constitution leaves to ONLY the President.

I hope, but suspect not, that all RINO Pubbies take the lesson to FIGHT for their principles so they continue to be elected and aren't cast aside as the corrupt, worthless, pencil-pushing lobbyist-sucking bureaucrats they turned out to be.

THAT was why we lost the election...

Ed

He was convicted by a jury of his peers. While I do not have absolute faith in the judicial system, it isn't like Libby couldn't afford a good lawyer.

We lost the election because we had less people to turn out and vote period. Not because of Rhinos because of lazy voters or some that wanted to send a a messge. May the message hurt those voters more than my family.

It was not of his peers because Libby is a republican and the jury pool was drawn from the District of Columbia, which is like 98 percent democrat and 2 percent Republican. Hardly his peers and the jurors speaking out after the verdict prove that. This was a political prosecution that will be overtunred on appeal.

The jury was contaminated from within by contact with the media. In this case, it was not a the state that was really prosecuting Libby, it was the media and they got one of their own on the jury. He has admitted that the jury did not convict Libby on the charges, but on the media perception of the Bush administration. The judge in the case is just as poor as the prosecution because he forced the defense to prove his innocense and then denied him the tools to do so. The law is not a post modern metanarrative, no matter what the media tells you.

We lost the election because we had less people to turn out and vote period.

Not true. The Republican Party made a decision not to listen to us at the bottom and ran the same old tired candidates. We would have had better results if they ran decent and honest, if unknown, candidates. They ran the ones with the names and the money...and they got trounced!

I know that for a fact, one of my girlfriends ran for the state Senate and since she wasn't corrupt and a decent human being, the Republicans ran an idiot instead. He was crooked and had a lot of baggage and they could control him. Don't think it's just the Democrats that are rats, there are plenty on the Republican side too.

Did you know that Scooter was Rich's lawyer?
