Why isn't Newsweek covering this? Rolling Stone? CBS sNews?
And I have no doubt that he has the best investment advice that money can buy. Too bad his entire life is built upon lies, hypocrisy and the slick marketing of nothing in particular.
Because it puts liberals and the Religion of Global Warming in a bad light.
But you knew that, right? :-)
Reminds me of Barbara Streisand telling us how to save energy when she keeps her Manhattan penthouse airconditioned at 60 degrees in the summer.
Chef was payed $4,000 --- travel and accommodations were included additionally.
Don't for get the "asshole" Adam Clymer.
The posted article insinuates he chartered a private jet, therefore creating more global warming, but the actual AP article states that the chef "hopped a flight". The $4,000 was based on his airfare, the cost of the food, plus two days pay, which was how long he out of the restaurant. Much ado about absolutely nothing.
Or that age old recreation activity, getting a "lewinsky"
And think of all the the electricity that has been wasted in manufacturing her CD's and videos, and of all the electricity wasted by her fans playing those CD's and videos!
A small city could be powered with all of that wasted energy.
From the AP article:
"The fee was arrived at by estimating the restaurant's takings for two evenings, the time Ahmed will be away, Mohammed said."
and also from that same AP article:
"For a feast of onion bhajees, chapati breads, biryanis, pappadums, a specially prepared fish dish and vegetables on the side, the bill will top $3,900, plus travel and accommodation for the restaurant's head chef."
That was exactly my point.
Doh, as I kept reading I figured that out. Unfortunately I posted before I had finished reading the whole thread. I'm a dork.
I'm always delighted to have South Park fans checking in to the thread :-)
And because they are now both High Priests of the Religion of Global Warming Hysteria, they have been absolved of all sins by their acolytes in the press. Their vestments have been declared clean and pure.
I have no doubt that the chef had his own sizable entourage, and this was billed separately from the $4,000.00 base figure for the food as part of the 'travel and accommodation' expenses.
We can't have a chef serving food to such Noble Deities as Kanye West and Algore with mussed hair now can we?
Lawd, that's a funny pic!
Mother Earth is a beeyotch and Kanye just busted a cap in her [explitive for backside].
And he used his solid-gold pistol which was custom made to his specification by vivacious and buxom Swiss elves.

The British Raj restaurant in Rogerstone near Newport said it is preparing a rare five foot long Ayre fish for the rapper and his entourage. The food and head chef Kaysor Ahmed will be flown by helicopter to Heathrow on Tuesday before they fly to New York. Restaurant manager Masud Ahmed said his staff were "very nervous". Mr West's record company Raw Soul have organised the curry banquet for the award-laden performer. Musad Ahmed believes the company were aware of The British Raj because the restaurant has provided takeaways for pop stars performing in south Wales on previous occasions, including Girls Aloud. But he said the request was still a "big surprise".
Members of the Wales rugby team are regular customers and the restaurant has catered for large charity events in the past, said Mr Ahmed. "We are all very nervous about the meal, especially Kaysor," said Mr Ahmed, who describes the British Raj as an upmarket restaurant. "We're not used to all this attention. "We just hope that everything goes well on Tuesday and that we provide good food. "When it is all over then I'll feel relief. "But this sort of thing happens once in a blue moon so we are very pleased to be able to do it." The helicopter will be flying into Tredegar Park Golf Club at 1330 GMT on Tuesday to transport Kaysor Ahmed and the food to Heathrow. He will then fly to JFK airport, New York before being taken to a secret location to cook for Mr West and eight to 10 members of his entourage.
Mr Ahmed's trip will last two days before he flies back to the UK. His manager said he will be back in the restaurant's kitchen by the end of the week. The Ayre fish, which has been bought especially, will form the centrepiece of the banquet which also feature speciality dishes from the British Raj's menu and standard Indian fare including poppadoms, bhajis and naan breads. Mr Ahmed said they were charging £2,000 because of the special circumstances. The record company will be paying for the transport. He has already received faxes from the record company and helicopter firm about arrangements. It is believed that Mr West, who has achieved world wide fame with his multi-million selling albums The College Dropout and Late Registration, has never eaten at the restaurant. He performed at the Cardiff International Arena in 2006. |
