These are out patient and follow up care facilities.
Doubtful anyone visiting the troops when they arrive from the battlefield ever got to see that facility.
Most should have been sent to their home based facilities and we ought to be examining process.
The facility was/is scheduled to be shut down, but that doesn't mean that unhealthy areas ought to be used for treating troops.

Clearly emergency care is outstanding. It's the follow up and outpatient facility that is being condemned.
My WW II bro in law visits a VA near his home in NJ and gets the best care. He has no complaints at all.
