We have a presidential candidate who is just like Clinton with women, dresses up like a girl and lived with two homosexuals...

These same folks upset by Coulter would have us believe government should sanctify perversion with some honorable status equivalent to marriage.

I am tired of these people who try to pass some perversion of nature off as a normal thing. It is a fetish, a religion of deviance and I will not bend my knee in acquiescence to it.

I was not aware that "f - - - - -" was a bad word. What planet are you living on, you hypocrite!

Yup - but let's deal with the REAL WORLD. I was not aware of the fact that f - - - - - was a bad word.

I don't use language or terms like that in front of my daughter who's 7 years old. My decision.

I don't know if it was a calculated move, but I thought of Edwards' support of his bloggers as well. Wonder of wonders, you can't say anything negative, slur or otherwise, against homosexuals but you can say the most vitriolic, spiteful, hateful, evil lies against Catholics (and I'm not Catholic).

These people are the biggest hypocrites around.

Well, that's very big of you. She will of course, NEVER hear the "fag" word - which, in England, by the way, means a cigarette! Feel free not to bring your kid to CPAC to hear Ann Coulter.

Who would bring a kid to CPAC? Shouldn't he/she be home watching Barney, the purple dinosaur?

You think that is okay to say about five specific people with absolutely nothing to base it on. These women are liberals and it is fine to call them on it. It is fine to call them on the fact that they have become shills for the democrats. But why attack their marriages and their sexual allegiances? That is just pathetic.

I've remained silent upon the matter, but only because I appear in the minority who had thought Ann's insinuation highly out of place.

Actually, I think Michelle has the right opinion. More eloquently conveyed by Michelle than I, Conservatives ought carry themselves more respectfully than the loatheful. The word's usage within that setting was inappropriate and unless she's capable of personal corroboration of the insinuation, borders character (what little he has) assassination of Johnny Boy and is certainly no positive reflection upon CPAC's image.

Conservatives wouldn't nor shouldn't find the left's verbiage of slurs within a similar setting anything but disgraceful, neither should we engage nor condone the same's employ among our own. We just simply do not need to resort to the gutter level disgrace of the liberal left. WWRD? (What Would Reagan Do?) I think he'd distance himself from such antics - coming from anyone. But quick.

Personally, I can't say I care for Coulter's "style" even though she is easy on the eyes. She oft times comes off as a PMS-ticked Zoloft/Ritalin cocktail candidate who, with just the right word, could explode into ballistic fragments.

T'ain't my kind of woman.

Ronald Reagan conservative Bill Bennett echoed the thoughts of both Michelle Malkin and Hugh Hewitt, among others during his radio show this morning. Bill slapped down those callers who tried to make the lame excuse that Coulter's comments were no big deal and that Ann really wasn't talking about john edwards directly. I hope Bill posts the audio of what he said this morning.

The pattern I'm noticing so far is that prominent conservatives who convince folks to join "our side" are speaking out against what Coulter did at CPAC.

She will certainly hear plenty of words and terms and see things that I don't care for but why is it my responsibility to have her hear it from me and at such an early age?

Those who live by the conviction that good will always win over evil know that it's not appropriate nor expedient to lower one's self to that of the "enemy". It never amounts to anything good to lower ones standards based upon that of others.

That is almost exactly word for word what Bill Bennett said this morning.

I can't wait to hear what Laura Ingrahan, Rush, Sean, Levin, Prager, Medved and our local talk show hosts here in Denver have to say.

Jon Caldara of 850am KOA has Ann Coulter on late at night once or twice a month. They are good friends. I can't wait to hear his take on this later tonight.

"It is Michelle Malkin that is displaying ignorance here."

I think you're missing her point. No respectable person need employ such insinuated name calling of anyone anything of derogatory nature in a public setting when the image and character of all in attendance hangs upon the tempo of the invited guest speaker(s).

This has far less to do with the equivalence of the "slurs" that may have been employed.

"You think leftists would invite Malkin to their cocktail parties? That's absurd!"

Oh, I disagree...the left loves to have a single conservative 'controversial' figure, and if Malkin is polite enough, she's already got the reputation as a racist (which they love). Now that she's playing the PC queen, all she needs is to be deferential enough to let them shout her into submission (ala George Will) and the invites will be mailed.
