Thank you but some of these hateful comments about a fellow Republican is uncalled for.

I want these commenter's to know that I will make up my own mind about who I support and what I think a true conservative really is or is not.

Facts and Rudy's own words are far from "scurrilous". But you knew that, didn't you?

I was just goofing around, man. It's late, I'm loopy. And this De Jesus of Miami is on the TiVO and he's cracking me up.

I got your humor. I didn't mean to snap at you, if that what it seemed like. Inkling's attempt to side-track the truth of Rudy, I thought needed to be addressed.

For the record, they try to paint all of us as kooks. If you're a conservative, you should be used to it. That's just what liberals do. Don't sweat it.

Oh yeah, I'm well aware of the kook label. It doesn't bother me. In fact, I would rather be hated and labeled by those who hold views opposite of mine, than to be embraced by them.

Your right, it's late. Sorry for any misunderstanding.

Sincerely

"IMO Kyl blew it."

Ah, but Newt is out there, waiting in the wings. I think one of the reasons he hasn't announced and has played coy tothis point is that he's perhaps looking for a ticket to prop up by being second-bannana-with-bona-fides (playing a Dick Cheney sort of role).

No real conservative worth voting for would run as a third party candidate.

For one thing he would not win and after Hellary got through taking this country apart another Republican might not get elected for 40 years.

Evidently there are lots of Hanity and Rush haters just judging by some of the absurd comments about voting third party.

LOL, no one is here. Registration by party is not allowed. OTOH, I have been a member of my county, legislative, regional and state GOP Central Committee and have raised much money for real conservatives. But then this isn't about me (or you), rather it is about choosing a candidate for a political party. The GOP is a conservative party. It has clearly articulated platforms and positions. I helped write some of them. If the party chooses to change into a liberal party, it loses me. That's all.

If it is liberal - v - liberal, then a third party vote will send a message and help the GOP reorganize for the fight. Just my opinion, but after years of this stuff, it is an informed opinion.

Rudys record may be slanderous but putting said record on public display is not. It is informative. These records have very important negative connotations on his suitability to hold high office. Should we blindfold ourselves to reality?

hmmm, appears you're a one issue (WOT) individual. What about other issues...abortions, guns, amnesty, gays? Are you willing to forsake those things along with other liberties? Do you realized that more unborn children have been murdered by abortion than all of the "terrorists" killings combined? Have you ever witnessed a late term abortion? I would guarantee you would never support anyone that would allow that to happen.

Do I hate Rudy? No, but I would never support anyone that mimics the party platform of the democrat party as closely as Rudy.

Just a few stats for you..."In New York, 487,760 of the 4,228,729 women of reproductive age became pregnant in 2000. 53% of these pregnancies resulted in live births and 33% in induced abortions."

New York does not have any of the major types of abortion restrictions—such as waiting periods, mandated parental involvement or limitations on publicly funded abortions—often found in other states.

You obviously want someone tough on WOT but who is going to be tough on the War on the Unborn? It's not going to be Rudy.

Good point. The GOP has many issues. Rudy is wrong on most of them. Look at immigration, as another example. I look forward to the answer you get. Hopefully it is a polite one.

Yep right you are, H Ross sent a message and it took more than 8 years and thousand killed by terrorist before the lesson took affect.

The next time we may not have 8 years to turn things around before it is to late.

Rush says to paraphrase, those who vote third party or say they will stay home or either just plain ignorant of American politics or else naivete.

It wasn't like I was bad-mouthing him, other than to point out that its sad to see a man of his talents on such a crappy tv show. I like Thompson, and he'd probably be better than Giuliani, McCain, or Romney.

As to looking it up; why do that when there are helpful jerks such as yourself who are eager to inform?

Rush is an entertainer. As bad as Clinton was, the '92 race set up the 1994 GOP revolution. The number of Dem Governors, Mayors and state legislators dropped year after year thanks to that epochal event. Sadly, all too many of the former Dems simply changed into GOP running shorts and kept the same left wing liberalism. If they succeed in getting a short term advantage by fooling the GOP into embracing a liberal, they will be left with a shell. Conservatives will NOT abandon values to embrace a party. Liberals will.

To the contrary, I want everything out on the table, especially about a candidate for the presidency.. What I object to is the redundancy, overkill, and unwarranted personal sarcasm..

I was more attempting to call attention to the motivation of the poster , and the possibility of a hidden agenda.. I was not a supporter of Rudy Giuliani for the nomination, but I had no reservations about electing him as my President, should he get the nomination..
