If two people of the same gender being sexually attracted to each other isn't queer, I don't know what is.
Well, gay marriage is not that big a deal, as it would only serve them right [given the instability of homosexual relationships, what is more deserved there than a generous exposure to divorce courts and lawyers?]. The thing to object to is gay adoption.

I wasn't offended at all....I thought it was a crude and whacky thing to say....especially at a CPAC event where very few of the audience laughed at that joke....I think stupid insults are a weak tactic
Uh, no. She's your girl. Ann is all about herself, not conservatism. She is no more someone we want to be associated with than Pat Buchanan, David Duke, and Michael Savage. Conservatism is more than just ideas that separate us from the liberals, it's also about maturity. Ann is a harpie who desparately craves attention.
We needed Ann to spice things up. :)

....hanging aroung NorCal too long?....I'll let that pass, but if you go to some of the blogs like Captain's Quarters etc, alot of Republicans thought she showed very little tact in that remark...I know Ann is loved by many here, but if you go to earlier threads on the matter....alot fo people felt that remark was over the top.... Where I'm from is also a weak backhanded insult....
The difference is:
Howard Dean is the head of a political party. Ann Coulter is a private citizen.

It was actually done tastefully and wittily, and was well appreciated; that was the whole point -- and not the "crudeness" projected by the gay reporter.

....it's free speech when libs call GWB a "murderer" or Hitler....still is a stupid divisive thing to say..... maybe on FR which matters little....but not in the national spotlight
We're going to need the votes of independents to get a Republican elected in 2008 and over-the-top remarks like this are detrimental to the GOP cause.
