Wait a second, the REAL Conservatives (or so they call themselves) don't care about electablity ... principles mean everything. Even if your horse doesn't even cross the finish line.
I would have a hard time supporting Mr. Flip Flop.
Coulter is a social conservative. If she is leaning toward Romney it is likely because she is persuaded that he is telling the truth about his positions on abortion, gun control, traditional families, gay marriage, and national security.
On matters such as business savvy, fiscal discipline, smarts, and take-charge leadership skills, Romney yields to no other Republican candidate.
Romney must still persuade the larger number of justly skeptical social conservatives. That's a tough challenge, but the fact that he has apparently begun to persuade Ann Coulter gives him hope he can succeed on a broader level.
But in any event, Romney is not "owed" anybody's support. He has to fight for it.
