As for Alan Colmes, what a tiresome snivelling weasel. I have known liberals in my life who are actually worth talking to, i.e., who can actually carry on an intelligent discussion, but Colmes is not one of them.

And that is what national healthcare is about. If that passes they can tell you how much and what to eat, drink, and how much to exercise else they won't provide you health care. The anti-smoking crusade is part of that, based on faulty statistics and emotional appeal. The same with obesity and trans fat.
With environmental laws they can control businesses and private property (the same as they do by telling us what to build through eminent domain) and with health care laws they can control what the individual does. In other words, they will have total control over us under the guise of "doing what is good for the children."

You got it, except that neither one of us mentioned the grand scheme that they are using to brainwash the public into believing their feminist metanarrative, using the colleges and universities, as well as the public schools.
The public schools in WA State, actually have a policy of teaching to the lowest common denominator in the class. The teachers are forbidden to give extra work or move brighter students at a faster rate than the slowest kids in the class. Not all school districts follow this edict from the state, but ours does.
True Communism - equality at the lowest level.
