Actually, a Freeper on a previous thread said, as a friend to Barbara and Ted, Barbara expressed a close friendship and admiration for Rudy. It is quite possible to support people for office who do not meet every item on a checklist. There are many very conservative people who support Rudy for President. It is understandable that others won't.
It all depends on how one prioritizes their own views. Rudy's views match mine on the major issues of the day. In other areas, he is opposed to mine. When all is said and done, I think he would accomplish more as President in several important issues than other more 'conservative' candidates on the ballot because of his capabilities as a leader.

I know it's probably asking too much, but show some respect.
Barbara and Ted Olson were close friends of Rudy's. I'm sure she'd be thrilled at Rudy's candidacy. She had more intelligence than all of you bashers put together.

Ted Olson would not sign on to this position unless he was personally convinced Rudy Giuliani would appoint Justices in the mold of Scalia, Thomas, Roberts and Alito.
Of course there will no doubt be posters that will now claim Ted Olson is a treasonous liberal.
