Portsmouth health chiefs say the 12 pharmacists taking part in the new scheme will check whether the girls understand the pros and cons. Yeah, that'll help. They're 13 years old and possibly pregnant; they've already demonstrated that they have no sense.

My Grandfather had the best advice of all, which was:
"Keep your future in your pants."
The so-called 'morning after pill' (RU-486, whatever) is not proven completely safe anyway, and after a spate of exploding wombs, internal hemorrhage and death, this ill-advised approach to 'reproductive health' may be revisited.
But I'm not holding my breath.

Remember, stuff like this doesn't matter anymore because our 'mayor' has declared us to be the party of freedom...or is that the party of license (on non-gun related matters?)
...in the future, please restrict your posts to matters of taxation, spending, and war only because good Republicans aren't supposed to care about anything else (except gay-rights).
...Or we'll call you the American Taliban (a term heretofore reserved for a screwed up California kid from a liberal family who went to a Madrassa, but now applied to anyone who wakes up and goes to a non-Episcopal or non-Methodist church on Sunday).

Montgomery County Maryland is fighting teen pregnancy in a different. They are teaching kids homosexuality in the schools. They know the real way to stop unwanted pregnancy is to stop heterosexual sex.

RU486 and the "morning after" pill are not the same. Not even close. Please do some research when you have time to learn more.

I never said they were the same. Don't put words in my mouth.

Four Types of Emergency Contraception
by Marjorie Greenfield, M.D.
Four general methods of emergency contraception are currently available in the United States: the morning-after pill, in both estrogen-progestin and progestin-only formulas; the IUD; and RU486.
From:[http://www.drspock.com/article/0,1510,5706,00.html]
The bottom line is that all the aforementioned methods are classified together as options to terminate a pregnancy, and all serve the same purpose.
Please do some more moral contemplation when you have time to consider the consequences of such FDA-approved poisons on an unborn child.

So "Uncle Bob" takes Lena Mae down to the local Planned Parenthood office to get her fixed up. Anyone going to call the law? Nope. This ought to be real popular with the incest crowd.

I'd say try the decaf, lol
This is where my 'exploding womb' comment came from:
"In the process, the woman will lose on average 70 ml of blood, which is a blood loss four times greater than that of a suction curettage abortion, putting it beyond the normal "heavy" period. Surgical intervention is necessary 1 in 100 times to stop the bleeding, and though the bleeding usually lasts only two weeks, there are records of it going on for two months. For the most part the bleeding and cramping happen at home, away from the doctors supervision. Nausea, headaches, vomiting, and diarrhea are fairly common side effects too, and in a few cases more exotic symptoms are exhibited as well: dizziness, fatigue, back pain, uterine hemorrhage, fever, viral infections, vaginitis, rigors, dyspepsia, insomnia, asthenia, leg pain, anxiety, anemia, leukorrhea, sinusitis, and syncope. The FDA notes that "adverse event rates were highest at Planned Parenthood clinics and lowest at Free-Standing clinics, with university hospital clinics in the middle."

The key word is *whatever*.
Once again, the bottom line is that all of these poisons result in the same thing: killing an unborn child.
Some will hide behind that old canard about "it's not a child, it's a ________ (fill in 'zygote, fetus, clump-of-cells, etc), but the issue here isn't the splitting of hairs regarding whether the "morning after pill" is similar to, same as, or totally different from RU-486 or any other pill, their common purpose remains the same.
Let's stay focused on that, shall we?
