"Its more likely they just got some internal polling numbers, Thats the only thing democrats respond to." You are probably 100% correct. They probably polled a fair question such as, "Do you want the USA to fail in Iraq?" With that followed up by, "Who would you blame the failure on: Democrats or Republicans?"
When 98% said they do not want to fail and 98% said they'd blame the Democrats, this may have turned Levin around. But I am being logical so I am probably 100% incorrect.
