Hmm... of a few Chechens and other caucasian tribals I used to know while living in these parts, alcoholism was not their religion. They had different culture of drinking, focused on wine instead of vodka - pretty much like the mediterranean countries, Alcoholism was to a large extent correlating with the degree of russification.

Giuliani Selling I-Bank to Sheikh of Dubai?
Gearing up for a presidential run, Rudy Giuliani may be about to get some help from a controversial source: Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum, prime minister of the United Arab Emirates and ruler of Dubai. According to a well-placed source, representatives of Giuliani Partners, the former New York mayor's consulting firm, recently traveled to Dubai to meet with the sheikh and negotiate the sale of Giuliani Capital Advisors.
Giuliani's decision to unload the investment banking unit, which he acquired from Ernst & Young in 2004, is reportedly connected to his plans to seek the Republican nomination for the presidency in 2008. A second source with close ties to Giuliani's camp says the price tag for GCA is set at $36 million, nearly four times what Giuliani Partners paid for it.
Since leaving office in 2001, Giuliani has cultivated relationships in the oil-rich Persian Gulf state. In 2004, he was a featured speaker at a leadership conference there. More recently, he sent Joseph Volpe, who joined Giuliani Partners after ending his tenure as managing director of the Metropolitan Opera, to consult on plans to build an opera house in Dubai, to be designed by architect Zaha Hadid.
A spokeswoman for Giuliani Partners denies the story, insisting there have been "no discussions with anybody in Dubai."

imho, his sensibilities are far too much in sympathy with the more brazenly and overtly hideous sorts like George Soros.
G's just not as brazenly dirty on the surface. And, there may be a few decent bones left in his body somewhere on some issue or another as long as it doesn't get in the way of globalism.

The New York Times welcomed the Supreme Court's recent endorsement of virtually unfettered eminent domain powers as "a setback to the 'property rights' movement." The fact that the Times not only celebrated a defeat for property rights but felt a need to put the phrase in scare quotes speaks volumes about the left-liberal misconceptions that have been brought to the fore by the Court's decision in Kelo v. New London.
According to the Court, the Fifth Amendment, which allows the government to take property "for public use" provided it pays "just compensation," is a license to transfer any parcel of land from its current owner to someone the government thinks will make better use of it.

Couldn't find anything regarding this story in the regular media either. The only source of this story is Radar Online, a left-winged gossip blog.
What's the point of that post? There are Muslims in over 192 countries worldwide. It's the second largest religious group behind Catholicism.
Depends on a lot of things.
Can't --the puppet masters have a death grip on the MSM which always plays their tune to the max. Very difficult to get sufficient name recognition to overcome that lopsided mass manipulation. I think we should do all we can with Hunter or even the Mormon, for that matter. But in the final analysis--short of prayer and massive miraculous help from God . . . . I suppect "can't" is as operative a word as any.
we --I don't know how many "we" will bother how much to change things. And would the maximum "we" efforts of ALL the patriotic conservatives plus say 10-20% of the moderates be sufficient to overcome the puppet masters and MSM manipulations? I'm very skeptical it would. I still think we ought to do all we can--we are still accountable to God for what we do and don't do. I'm just skeptical that there's sufficient meaningful opportunity for "we" to carry the day.
do better --There's certainly better around. Hunter is exceedingly better from all I can tell. A big part of me suspects that IF he was clearly winning in the polls over Guilliani, that then the puppet masters would "invite" Hunter to step aside or forcefully insure he was not able to continue his candidacy. I wish I didn't feel that way.
It is startlingly horrid to me . . . to realize that we have 3 front runners for President who have a track record of being:

2. ANGRY
3. POWER HUNGRY
4. GLOBALISTS--SOME WORSE THAN OTHERS
5. TRAITOROUS IN THEIR GLOBALISM
6. VENGEFUL, PUNITIVE

9. WOULD LIKELY FURTHER SHRED THE CONSTITUTION IN A FLASH
