Wow. That's a great post! Thanks for starting this thread.
I love Helen Mirren, and hope she gets the Oscar tonight. I probably won't see it though, because I'll be watching Mirren on PBS in her role of Chief Inspector Jane Tennison.
Wow, I remember him. He was a funny looking kid. Wasn't he also in Breaking Away?
Very nice with the layout. Two threads?!!? That's not good. You mean we can't say bad things about actors here?
Do as I say ...not as I do..
too common all over the US!
(or the modification... the rules DONT apply to me)
My mom is a Hollywood enthusiast & this is one show we can watch together. She doesn't like 24 & I dont like Oprah or the View ... two of her favs!
Wow! I haven't seen any--well, United 93. Think that's it.
My daughter flew to Paris on Tuesday,January 16th. In her e-mail back to us on Wednesday she said she saw The Queen on her flight over. Stupid me thought she had actually seen the Queen.
I thought it was a bit odd, thinking the Queen Mum might have a private jet. Heck what do I know....
Yes, we can say true things (and they might be bad).. but what I want to avoid is the common sentiments:
1) All of Hollywood is weird, super liberal, disgusting
2) I wont waste my hard earned dollars... etc. as nauseam
3) The awards are worthless, waste of time etc.,
If someone feels that way..sure, it is there prerogative, but why trash up a thread? We see it too often on all threads unfortunately.
Good story. Now that is one movie I would like to see.
I am single and have a LOT of male friends who do NOT like to go to the theater alone. I also often go alone or with a gal pal. I usually go to movies 2 or more times a week.
Great job Dolly!
Good--because I plan on making fun of Al Gore.
They used those limos to carpool, right?
Oh... never mind.
Oh, Jay...that is funny! and actually part of the movie The Queen shows QE2 scrutinizing use of the private jets for "keeping the subjects happy" reasons... not wasting the money.
I am right behind you.. many of stars present & past have strange "habits" etc.. that is game IMHO..
What did you think of the Peter O'Toole movie? He's one of my favs but I just don't have much of an inclination to see movies like I used to. I do hate Hollywood and choose not to support them (not speaking about O'Toole's movie specifically) and then I have three kids so it's hard to go to a movie unless my husband or I go alone. Have you seen Amazing Grace?--I want to see that one.
Yup.
Not until something like 2am:
