I give up..........
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
I am hopeful. What is needed is complete elimination of government K-12 schooling.
Now that parents know that the homosexual agenda will not be removed from the curriculum, hopefully, more parents will abandon the government schools. Hopefully, more parents will line up in favor of vouchers and tax credits. Hopefully more parents will homeschool.
Government schools can not be reformed. If the court had ruled in favor of the parents objecting to "King and King", this would be like stepping on one roach in the kitchen. The homosexuals will find hundreds of other ways to slip their agenda into the government schools.
Beside this, the problem with government schooling isn't merely homosexuality. Government schools attack and undermine the religion of children in thousands of ways, and their belief in America, capitalism, and our Constitution.
Government schools teach secularism and socialism/Marxism. It is time that parents understand this, forget about reform, and work to eliminate government K-12 schools completely!

Men in Black, teachers unions, and liberal idiots. I can't think of a more toxic combination.

Federal Judge Mark Wolf ruled on Friday that public schools are "entitled to teach anything that is reasonably related to the goals of preparing students to become engaged and productive citizens in our democracy." A federal judge thinks we're a democracy.
New flash, your highness -- we're a REPUBLIC!

My question is: Where are the fathers?
Why would any father allow their child to be exposed to this?

"parents' rights to exercise their religious beliefs were not violated when their children were exposed to contrary ideas in school."
"Daddy, is it true there's no Flying Spaghetti Monster?"
"Get my lawyer on the phone. Damn that homosexual agenda, anyway."

There was a time when the 3 rs of public education were reading and riting and rithmatic. When education was first conceived in the hearts of the Puritans, its singular purpose was teaching children these academic disciplines.
But that idea soon became obsolete. As time passed, political correctness and humanism began infiltrating the upper levels of academia. Public education began transforming into a grotesque mutation of its original image. More and more the schools began assuming parental training responsibilities. In some cases, they replaced and actually contradicted the moral and social values of their students parents. It began with sex education. This seems like a completely legitimate function of school. After all, our children need to know the biology of the reproductive system. But the social engineers went much further and began distributing condoms, teaching safe sex while ridiculing the concept of abstinence, and promoting homosexuality by providing books explaining why some children have two mommies. That nonsensical approach to education was reinforced by Judge Wolf's ruling.
Social engineering has no place in the classroom. The government has no role in molding the social and political characters of our children. Public schools have one role and one role onlyteach the kids! We dont need you testing them for alcohol. We dont need you giving them condoms. We dont need you explaining why some kids have two mommies. If I want my kids to know any of that stuff, I will teach them. Or maybe Ill choose not to teach them. Either way, you do not have the right to shape my childs morals, political views, or sexual lifestyle. Teachersdo your job, teach the kids, and leave your social engineering strategies out of the classroom!

As a citizen of Massachusetts, I am disgusted. And the leaders of the state wonder why all the young families are leaving this state. Besides outrageous housing prices and the poor support of businesses, I think they should take a tally of how many young parents want their children's minds filled with immoral lies.

So there is State sponsored religion in MA...and it is anti-Christian (well, anti-Islamic and anti-Jewish as well). How long before the likes of Hillary insist that it takes a village to raise a child and therefore the children of Christians will have to be taken away from them so they get the "proper" education?
