I appointed 100 judges myself

Odd. On one of the many Giuliani threads a couple days back, a Rudybot swore up and down that Rudy had never appointed judges. Now the MAN himself is 'fessing up to it. Perhaps some hard-hitting investigative reporter from the MSM will jump on this and see how many of them were in the Alito/Scalia mold. Perhaps, but . . . uh . . . not likely.

First off, I believe these judges have to be confirmed by the NY City Council. The make up of the NY City Council is in favor of the Democrats 48-3!!!!! How many Republicans do you think he can get confirmed with those kind of numbers!!! Secondly, do you really think Ted Olsen is a liar because I certainly take him at his word.

The mayor picks the criminal court judges. Civil court judges and Supreme Court judges are elected.

Actually Ted Olsen came out and said last week that Rudy has been a supporter of strict constructionist since they worked together in the REAGAN Justice Department back in the early 80s. I'm certainly not going to question Mr. Olsen's integrity.

Provide us with the names of all the Republicans Rudy appointed to the bench. He was bragging in this interview about how important these 100 picks were to him. Certainly you can back up your guy's assertion that he's going to appoint good guys to the bench, can't you?
