I've pointed out the flaws in your assertions, so much so that you didn't bother to defend them. Your crediblity here is non-existent.

What is this scientific knowledge of which you speak?
It is always intriguing to hear it pronounced as proven that homosexuals are "born that way." But there does not seem to be much actual evidence; it seems to be more of a perverted faith based on one single very dubious study done by homosexuals which has not been duplicated. Why is "faith" in the ineluctable nature of perversion better than faith in the Word?

The newly approved curriculum, entitled "Respect for Differences in Human Sexuality," promotes cross-dressers, homosexuals, transgenders, bisexuals, the intersexed, and other non-heterosexuals. Well, at least they're not promoting something taboo, like abstinence. The ACLU would be all over them for that.

You shown your morals through-out this thread. You're credibility here is non-existent. That'll teach me to post when I'm rushed. That should say:

You! Talking about immorality!
Certainly. Isn't it funny how morality has been reduced to the dire state it is in today, when only abortion, queers, euthanasia and stem-cell research are moral issues?
I'm happy to respond and bump this thread.
It might just be me, but I don't see the references I asked for. Seriously, I would really be interested in the 'new science of the brain' that you mentioned.

You shown your morals through-out this thread.
Absolutely. I've shown my superior morals by refusing to make personal attacks on you, and by only casting doubt on your arguments and judgement.
You're credibility here is non-existent.
Yet you felt the need to repeat this 'obvious fact' three times. Quite amusing, especially since you did not answer a single point I made.
By the way, you may have a verbal tic of some sorts. At first, you used the word obfuscation in every post of yours, now its credibility, all of a sudden.

I was not arguing that there was some 'scientific knowledge' that this person did not get, but that his personal experience does not constitute scientific knowledge. Read the post again, I'm sure you'll get it.

They aren't. Enviornment plays a huge role. But so do genes.
Why is "faith" in the ineluctable nature of perversion better than faith in the Word?
Because there is no such dilemma. The Word (I'm agnostic anyway) contains wisdom, not scientific knowledge.

No, fact. People who doubt the theory of evolution may be spirutual masters, but they're not in the know when it comes to science.

It's Maryland. The nearest thing the US has to a communist paradise. One of their goals is to eliminate the influence of parents over their children's actions.

In fact I have read your posts. What your response proves is that you have not read my posts. You said that there was not comprehensive review of this science (I read that). I don't care. You can refer to the various articles in medical, scientific and biological journals, and I'll look them up. Unless this 'new science' is done in extreme secrecy and without peer-review, those articles should be out there.

My friend, it's not a matter of opinion, it's a matter of fact. Some people might well believe in the beliefs of the Flat Earth Society, but that doesn't make their beliefs equal to scientific truth.

How is it that "gays are born that way and can never change" but "transgenders" who are not born the way they want to be, must force everyone else to "accept" their change?
Every pro-homo I ask this question to 1) says "transgender and homosexuality are two different issues" 2) call me a bigot.

I believe you made the claim. Therefore, the obligation to provide evidence for your claim is yours. Enjoy it.

If these parents love their children they will get them out of the governemnt schools tomorrow.

Since you are inclined to dismiss programs that are geared toward altering sexual orientation because of their religious affiliations, I suggest that you visit your local library and spend some time researching articles from scientific journals that are say, 40 or 50 years old on the subject. What you'll find is that, before homosexuality became politicized and was being considered objectively, the same types of therapies used by these "religious" groups were being utilized decades ago in a wholly secular manner, with very comparable results.
The reason the therapies are now found largely within the context of "religious" institutions is because, from their sense of moral obligation to attempt to bring people to wholeness, such organizations are the only ones still willing to regard homosexuality as a dysfunction, unlike the professional psychological organizations that were long ago bullied into silence and submission by the political activists.

I believe you made the claim. Therefore, the obligation to provide evidence for your claim is yours. Enjoy it I feel no obligation to prove known facts to you. Evidence you have provided on this thread suggests it would be a wasted effort, anyway.
Good day. If you must have the last word (which, as a re-tread, you will invariably demand--we've seen you before) then fine. Anyone who reads the thread will know you for who you are.
