But if he decided to become an employer, he would certainly have a right to break the law and hire all the illegal aliens he wanted to, right???
YES!
"You are right about the poor quality. It does not seem to keep the houses from selling though. The house that my husband had the Mexicans pulled in on him looked awful. He got so mad that he went on a different job for this contractor. The Mexicans finished it up. You could tell where his work ended and theirs took over. There was a big difference in quality. The brick on the entryway of the house was bowed to a very obvious degree but this house sold right away. Are people getting so used to sorry construction that they don't even care anymore?"
No, people don't care anymore and do you know why???? because when someone buys a house nowdays, it isn't for the rest of their life so who cares? Unlike our parents generation ours moves from one house to the other to the other etc..
Why don't I believe you?
Outstanding post! Highly intelligent and thoughtful!

listen, let me tell you. That show on NBC (liberal hag) called "Living In The Shadows of Immigration" or something like that, which, told the story in a deeply sympathetic to the illegals and the contractors, way, had one telling point.
In one segment, the reporter-interviewer, whatever, told of the 19 or so, illegals living in one house and talked to a nine year old girl about how it was , and the child said it was fine, and that she, herself
slept on the floor beside a bunkbed where her mom and dad and assorted relatives slept.
Do you know what would happen to me, if I told someone on camera or off, that a child was having to sleeping on the floor in my house?
The funny thing is, his economic argument is spot-on, and you and others refuse to acknowledge that.
Face the facts, er.... "Dude."
The first fact is this. The reason the illegals come here, is because Americans PAY them to come here. They wouldn't come here if Americans weren't throwing money at them.
The second fact: illegals are a whole lot cheaper to employ than Americans are. To a thinking person, the preference for cheaper labor just might suggest that Americans are overpriced for the world market. You'll find the evidence not just in the market for illegal immigrants, but also in the massive outsourcing of formerly American manufacturing jobs.
The third fact: folks can bitch and moan about how much illegals cost, in terms of social benefits; but the fault for that lies with Americans -- primarily state and local politicians. Perhaps the bitchers and moaners might try fixing their own political problems.
The facts are OBVIOUS. Perhaps you should figure out how to deal them.
I think you nailed it, my nephew has been making a killing every since he graduated about 7 years ago. His starting salary was about 65K, but lots higher today.
And the "market" is illegal aliens evading income taxes? Uh.... never mind.
Nice. They're going to go from middle class to dirt-a$$ poor. Proving the point that others have made and you've tried to deny, which is that this could turn us into a third world country.
My suggestion is to do something about the government and elect those willing to solve the problem.
Well said!
TROLL. Without a doubt now.
I'll bite... why?
OK, but your plan (what you did after you lost your old job) wouldn't work for someone who doesn't already have mucho buckos. That's "lots of money" for those of you in Rio Linda.
