If the anarchists can't get to the Wall, they may just deface the Memorials to our other fallen soldiers just because they are maggots.

I work with Move America Forward, and our contribution to this event is the following:

1. The "THESE COLORS DON'T RUN" national patriotic, pro-troop caravan across the nation (collecting American flags at each stop to bring to D.C. for a giant "Flag City" sea of positive, pro-troop, patriotic red, white & blue to counter the negativity and defeatism of the anti-war crowd:

Head's Up PING - I didn't see the press release on this posted yet, so I started this thread to highlight the good work of Kristinn and the news conference participants in helping attract media attention to the March 17th Gathering of Eagles (and appreciating the plug for MAF's national "THESE COLORS DON'T RUN" caravan that will head to D.C. and join the many fine groups involved in putting together the March 17th event).

The biggest thanks I believe belongs to COL Harry Riley and CAPT Larry Bailey, two Vietnam Veterans who are organizing the "Gathering of Eagles" in Washington, D.C. and FReepers JustANobody, trooprally, et. al for first coming up with this concept!

It worked out perfect, because MAF was planning a national caravan to collect flags and unveil them in DC for a "Flag City" and then we saw what the FReepers were planning and we realized that THIS was the perfect thing to tie in to and support.

This is the time for Americans to rise up. The MSM expects this to be a big day for renouncing the war. Instead, we need to make it a big day for Americans demanding victory against Islamic terrorism.

You need to post the schedule so people can plan to meet along the route and possibly continue with you to Washington DC.
