I personally like McCain the least, even more than Rudy. I don't hate him like many do here....but age, MSM whoring, not voting for tax cuts and actually, I don't think I trust the guy...and he's falling in the polls like a decaying satellite orbit.....

McCain didn't even bother to vote on the war/surge resolution.
What a leader.

because people are just losing respect for the whole government. And why is that, I wonder? Could it be their desire to legislate our freedoms away? Maybe...

Dan Schnur, McCains communications director in the 2000 White House race,Dan Schnur... that is all I need to see... no to McCain...

Right. Romney is in the weeds collecting tons of quiet cash. Once the msm puts rudy and mc cain at each others throat , they will focus on Rommies flip flops , and his Mormon connection. The rubes will eat it up , at the same time overlooking Hillary's record and obamas religious background. It's fine to attack the church of Rome , Mormons are fresh meat , but woe unto thee who offends Jews or Muslims . This will be fun. I can't wait for the pubbie loyals who will continue to picth the line , it's better to have a liberal repub than a liberal dem. It's laughable..

McCain was nutz long before he got to be 71. He had a bad reputation as a Midshipman at Annapolis.

McCain is nutz. I think he gets it from his mother, Roberta, who said:
"Were a religious family. Not to mention she broke off, laughing that I never go to church and my church is right across the street.

Bad stuff!

IMO, McCain showed a lot of integrity by speaking out forcefull against the resolution and the "insult" it represented. There was no need for him to show up to vote against ending the debate since there was no chance of cloture occuring.
I wish more Republicans had stayed away. Imagine--these treasonous coward Democrats insisting that the supporters of the war come in and "debate" them on a meaningless resolution with no chance of even coming to a vote. Were I a senator, I'd have told them to go to hell, which is sort of what McCain did.

I don't like neither of 'em, but it's interesting how now that McCain isn't a fav ("the mavrick") in the press anymore, it's now gonna be how he's "OLD" -- like the job they did on Bob Dole where every story was about his age.

Then the Republican primary voters had better choose wisely!

Cause, of course, Guliani's the fave in the press this time, because he might fracture the party severely.
To: Spiff
"Too anxious to appease the right..." LOL--and they used to call him a maverick. Now he's an appeaser.
