It got me to thinking again about Vasko Kohlmayer, a communist-defector a few decades ago. His article,
The Lefts Secret Pact: Subverting the War on Terror , outlines the historical actions of the Left around the world, and his belief treachery is being played out now in our country.

I live on the Mississippi Coast, but I will subscribe to this paper to show my support of their brave and honest stand. Maybe other FReepers will do the same.

A day without the New York Post is a day without sunshine. The editorials and op-eds are like candy.

Well, there's something new. My actually agreeing with the headline of a major U.S. newspaper.

Pelosi Pre-emptive Surrender Disorder (PPSD) Apparently Democrats arent content with surrender in Iraq. Deciding that the fight against radical Islamic terror is just not worth waging, Pelosi this week led her Democrat colleagues in pre-emptive surrender by declaring, [T]here is no previous authority for the president, any president, to go into Iran.
Leaving aside for a moment the separation-of-powers issues surrounding Pelosis statement, what does it say about the party in control of Congress when it openly announces that, if its members have their way, the military option for dealing with Iran will not be available to the United States? Is there any way more certain to embolden an enemy than to announce openly that the military option is not an option? And they wonder why Americans dont trust them on national security...
Fellow Patriots, we hope as fervently as anyone that the security challenges posed by Iran can be resolved without resorting to war, but it is sheer folly to tell a potential adversary that it faces no threat of war. Si vis pacem, para bellum.

"Experience proves that the man who obstructs a war in which his nation is engaged, no matter whether right or wrong, occupies no enviable place in life or history. Better for him, individually, to advocate 'war, pestilence, and famine' than to act as obstructionist to a war already begun.... The most favorable posthumous history the stay-at-home traitor can hope for is -- oblivion."
