How many times must we go through this? First, there is no way to know that there is no middle east oil in there. It all goes into the same pipelines, refineries, etc.
Even if you could, it still wouldn't do anything. Since oil is so fungible, somebody else would buy it and inject it into the system.

If they did the 'Mohamed with the bomb in his turban' as a logo also it would be better. :) Around here (NJ), the guys working at the gas station wouldn't find that real funny.

That is some good marketing. That it is ... and nothing more. Given that oil is a global commodity, this doesn't impact the amount of $$ that the Iranians and Saudis rake in by $.01

Include me! But alas I live on the Left coast in Lost Angeles, CA, where Hugo Chavez' supporters are as numerous as the Che Guevarra t-shirts sold everywhere including the street corner. But we can give it a go!

With a few exceptions, it seems to be a West-of-the-Mississippi organization.

It's a start, and an attempt. I completely support it.
Re: fungibility... one could say that about anything. For example, just because I don't use cocaine or meth or whatnot doesn't stop someone else from using it, and the dealers and producers still make their money, but I ain't contributing to it. (Now, Trappist monks on the other hand...)
The Saudis might still make money, but they shouldn't off of us.

I love it! Wish I had one as a magnet for my car! Or a t-shirt! Did you make it? If so, are you selling products?

True, but it is at least a start towards getting the consumer to understand that the 'cost' of gas is not what they are paying at the pump.
