"If the jury would have heard about this second instance, it certainly would have affected the drug smuggler's credibility." Of course it would have, that's why Sutton fought so hard to hide it.
Is anyone else disturbed that the Federal Govt. would go to such lengths to protect an illegal criminal, and throw two of it's own citizens in jail?

It's gettin' hot in the kitchen.
All of the WND/Corsi naysayers ought to be foaming at the mouth knowing now that they/he were right after all.

As I said before, the case didn't make sense since we didn't know what was and wasn't allowed in court. Knowing the jury wasn't told about the 2nd drug arrest, I can see why some might have believed his sob story about his mother.
Wonder how long before Sutton's defender will make post. Ok I will give them a while since it is the middle of the night.
Wonder how many more black eyes prosecutors will get this year.

Reading this, I had this strange feeling of deja vue. Like I had read the same thing before once or even twice.

Sutton, Kanof, and Cardone need to be impeached. For starters.

Is there a lawyer here who could explain what it would take to get these guys a new trial at least? Bush is obviously lost in the ozone on this.
To: CrawDaddyCA
Yes and ya have to wonder why the president fails to step in and pardon the border agents.
Also why the justice dept fails to investigate the prosecutor and the whole case.
I've lost any faith in our whole justice system.

The DEA lets its informants smuggle all sorts of drugs in order to catch bigger fish. This is nothing new.

I really don't care if the border patrol shot this ILLEGAL, DRUG PEDDLER. They should not be in jail but given more ammo and pointed in the right direction.I want to puke when I hear our elected politicians (including Pres. Bush) talk about the poor Illegals, the government isn't going to do squat. Perhaps we need more border patrol like these two. If someone were to break into your house you'd shoot em if you could, so what's the difference if they break into our country, shoot the suckers.

When they find out some guy in prison is innocent, using DNA, do they pardon him?
