The earth is millions of years old. We have compiled weather data for the last 100 years. That's a pretty small sample to extrapolate from.

I heard a funny analogy. In terms of comparison to the earth's history, it's as if we took temperature data from, say, 1pm to 2pm on a Tuesday afternoon in the early summer and tried to declare that it's our own activities that are causing the temperature change...

He is a layman by his own admission who feels free to read and comment, or did until the media labeled all such people deniers.

Maybe those floating bergs are what eat ships in the Bermuda Triangle on their way to the South Pole.

Bummer; had 'Fox' on; but missed this segment. . .

There's a link to the video at the original article.

It will get the same response as "The Da Vinci Code."

It's fiction.

Shalom.

Thanks. I got the scoop on him. I just didn't know if he was a morning talk host. I don't watch Fox and Friends or any other morning chat show, so I have no idea. I see he's a lawyer/advocate for conservative positions.

In the late 1800s, oranges could be grown as far north as Jacksonville, Florida.

The hard freeze line has been moving south for a hundred years. Now we're lucky to grow oranges around Orlando. That's not global warming.

...Has anyone tried to refute this book or is the media and scientific community just ignoring it?

Someone "mentioned" it, I think on ABC news, but then shoved it under the rug as "alarmist."

I thought it was an excellent book, and that he (Crichton) is far too intelligent to misrepresent something as serious as the "catastrophic event" that Algorey is trying to invent, like he did the internet.

The world lives, and as a living thing, it changes on a daily basis, all over the planet. Al Gore can't change that process, no matter how loud he screams.

No, it's now a "Consensus"

Wow! I see consensi everywhere.

PV = ZRT is a consensus?
