The grassroots up campaign will serve Hunter well.

We like what we have heard about/read about Hunter. He sounds like a Reagan type of Conservative. We would vote for him in a heart beat.

This is good news. I'll settle for Newt if need be, but I kind of like Hunter.

There are precious few GOP leaders who get back in the face of the traitors in congress and their MSM allies. Hunter is one of the few.

Hunter has a lot of work ahead of him, but he seems to be off to a promising start. I wonder if he and Newt would consider a Hunter/Gingrich ticket? Would Newt help or hurt his chances (in the general election)?

Well. its a website read by conservatives, not run of the mill GOPers, so Newt and Hunter are going to be near the top. We have to work to get his name out their in the general population.

am surprised Newt did so well. I would like to know more about Hunter.Jim Gilmore was on Fox and Friends this morning. I really liked the way he sounded, as well. True Reagan conservative, and he got a haircut before going on TV, something Duncan needs to remember. If these guys could get together, I think we may have something.

Newt as VP would probably hurt in the general. The MSM created a myth about his leadership being 'corrupt' that, I fear, still has currency among a lot of fence-sitters.
I think if Newt were the Presidential nominee he could overcome it, as he is *very* articulate, and understands direct communication with the American people over the heads of the media (witness the Contract with America strategy). In the number two slot he wouldn't get a chance to shine.

Millions of Americans help across our nation and across our globe. To our international critics I say: When you had floods the Americans were there. Asking for nothing, taking nothing, only helping. When you had fires and earthquakes and tsunamis, the Americans were there. When you had disease Americans brought medicine, when you were hungry, the Americans brought food. When you were attacked, Americans left the safety of their homes to defend you. Sometimes the Americans came under their government, but many times they just came because of the goodness of their hearts. America is great because America is good.

Hunter was second in over popularity with a net score of 32, outranked only by former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich's score of 38.5I'll go with any combination of Gingrich/Hunter/Steve Forbes, in any order.

Read post 16. Then you will understand why the grassroots is moving towards Hunter. He has to establish his campaign from the bottom up, unlike the libs who get daily air space in the MSM. It may be an internet poll, but it shows where the conservative base of the party is going.
If you think the MSM polls about the popularity of Guiliani and McCain mean anything at this point, I gotta bridge to sell you.
