It apparently only became objectionable when Rudy's pro-PBA positions became an issue on FR. Bill Clinton and other liberals were regularly beat up on FR over partial birth abortion and a number of other liberal things in the past. When we turn our ire on a so-called Republican who believes and supports things almost identical to Bill Clinton, then WE get trashed. The Rudybots want to complain now about a double standard where there is none except for the double standard that THEY themselves are demonstrating.

OMG. You found where it was posted once and the mods didn't remove it. Well I've seen it removed, until now, every single time it's been posted. Yeah, sure.
But that purist conservatives don't mind if a child walks by and sees this image doesn't surprise me at all. There's a reason Reagan talked about the extreme right.
You sound just like Hillary with your "it's for the children" routine. I think it's important that the PBA issue cannot be santized. Pictures of Holocaust victims make people uncomfortable as well. Doesn't mean they should be pushed away.

Which above post is it you take issue with, Miss Sensitivity?*************
I do believe I quoted your post in my reply. I really must commend you on your consistency. It's the rare person indeed who can stay on topic so successfully.

No. But I expect at least 50%. Guiliani ain't even close. Mitt Romney is an opportunistic liar. McCain is McCain. If that is what the GOP offers, then it ain't my party and I'll skip that line of the ballot.
To: trisham
So you question my character because I have said I'll post spam favorable to Rudy now that Jim has ruled spam is okay, do I have that right?
Wow. You must be just about perfect.

As I said previously, your post revealed your character. As does this one.
Mr. Robinson dictates the rules of this forum, as surely you must know. I can't think of a more gracious host, particularly given some of the comments directed toward him recently.

Not really. No, please, it's embarrassing.
All right. You win. My husband thinks so too.

Mitt Romney needs to lose that plastic, used-car-salesman smile.

So you question my character because I have said I'll post spam favorable to Rudy now that Jim has ruled spam is okay, do I have that right? If you "spam" things in a campaign for the most liberal Republican presidential candidate in the history of the known universe on a conservative forum, you may not be happy with the results. It will go over like an abortion in church, to coin a phrase.

I just love how the rules change depending on which candidate is in favor.
Abortion has never been favored on FR.
You are the one who keeps telling us how favored Rudy is?, guess you are just trying to fool the masses, huh?
To: Peach
why don't you show me where I'm defending partial birth abortion?
When you promote someone who promotes these liberal agendas, you are not only defending it, but guilty of promoting partial birth abortion.
Why else would you want that image blocked other than your guilt feelings about promoting such evil.
To: mariabush; Jim Robinson
It is amazing how quick some Freepers will turn on ya when you don't agree with them on an issue. Oh give me a break. I love Jim and FR but he's a FReeper too and there's nothing wrong with disagreeing with him from time to time.
You won't ZOT me, right Jim? (Trembles nervously)

Rudy opposes gay marriage, but supports civil unions. I have no problem with civil unions -- so long as they don't force private businesses to treat the union as they would a traditional marriage. For example, I don't think an employer should be forced to pay health benefits for the "domestic partner" -- gay or straight -- of an employee, unless he chooses to.If civil unions are ever officially recognized, then they will have to come with benefits. It's all about the legality of the union. If you begin by recognizing the union, it would be unconstitutional not to give them the benefits of an officially recognized union. Gay rights activists are not fighting for a piece of paper to frame and hang on their wall.

I wasn't necessarily referring to JR. There is a real ugliness in the air against Freepers that do not support Rudy.
Not whining, because I can hold my own, but the rudeness is certainly not changing any hearts and minds.
