Any differences the rank and file may have with Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger over some of his more moderate positions and reaching out to Democrats, for example, are moot when it comes to fundamental goals, Nehring said.
"While we might have different approaches to individual issues, we don't compromise on core values and common principles of lower taxes, limited government and personal responsibility."

seems a bit contradictory when we look at the state of things today and how we got here..
I wish him well, however, frankly, I am under no illusions as to who is pulling the strings behind the scenes. read the last sentence and you may understand why I would say that.
btw, Pardon me for breaking the 11th Commandment without naming names. Just trying to be Post-Partisan, it's the rage these days , yaknow.
Got Ping? Thanks!
Maybe we should ask a roving reporter?
Now, now..
You know, the road to recovery usually starts with admitting you have a problem. Nehring hasn't made it to step 1.

More like Orwellian doublethink. The key is in the application of the term, "we." In the first instance, it's both Arndroids and conservatives, but in the latter the latter only. These being latter days I prefer the latter... /babble
a bit of an oops here also.. in more ways than one, imo..
In the article , it states,,
He was chosen by
acclimation (: the process or result of acclimating; especially : physiological adjustment by an organism to environmental change ) lol .. environmental change .. lolol , like the decaying of the processes this party used to operate under before Post-Partisanship took over.. ;-)
and not acclamation (an overwhelming affirmative vote by cheers, shouts, or applause rather than by ballot ),
which is how things seem to work in the CA GOP these days, wouldn't want to actually have a vote to know who was actually for him.
Not me, lol, no sir ree.
I'm sure Mike will grow into the job.. I wonder if he will still be working with Grover Norquist.
oops not Mike,, Ron,, I'll get the hang of calling him that, I hope,, beats Doof, uh, I mean Duf.
Ping!
LOL. Good observations!
Ewwwwwwwww!!! What sourchasm!!! (smirk)
I'm picking up vibes that this piece of crappola "deal" includes poison pills on redistricting and term limits that would make Arnoiled's new found love Willie Brown udderly orgasmic!!!
Sorry C_O, I know you are not fond of term limits, but that doesn't take away from the prospect of them turning back the only victory against that little peckerhead the CAGOP EVER experienced in his historical reign of error in the Crapitol!!!

Facts in evidence , Yur honor.
I plead Guilty, Yur honor.. :-}
Well, what are you hearing on the first part of my previous reply on the "deal" that is smellin up the Crapitol???
I have seen no actual legislation about term limit trade-offs for the primary move or what the quid pro quo might be, I had heard a couple variations on what might be proposed, none of which is very palateable, imo.
They smell phishy is my initial reply . However, I reserve the right to carp away as things solidify in the old manure ponds of Stinkymento. :-)
Oh man! That stunk!! I gotta go ta bed!!!
Ooof-taaa
Make sure and lay a Big Valentine on the wifey.
G'nite
