Interesting. Even members of the armed forces should be held accountable for their actions.

If true they need to be punished. Those who serve their country should hold themselves to a higher standard and idiotic antics such as this bsmirtches all who wear the uniform.

Notice it doesn't describe the rendition of the song.

Sorry; when the Marines are accused I am very skeptical. Far too many false accusations have been aimed at them.

That said; if there is real evidence that they did it they must be held accountable.

I do not believe that. I can not see any US Marines assaulting these guys. Call me crazy. The SF PD is throwing straws to keep them from being involved. If these guys were wanting to have a candle light vigil for peace the SF government would be all over it.

There is certainly more to this story than is being told, since this isn't the kind of crime that happens unprovoked.

This is San Francisco. Of course they'd try to find a way to pin it on the military.

I've read the full article twice. There's a touch of something here which isn't ringing so right.

This is interesting. Whoever did it should be held accountable. You can't just assault someone if you don't like how he sings. If that were the case I would have become a mass murderer at the last karaoke bar I visited.

"The evidence is overwhelming.''

That there is lawyer talk for "we'll be lucky if we can get a judge to agree to even consider our evidence before tossing it out".

Sounds like their "rendition" of the Anthem could be considered "fighting words." Desecrate the flag / Anthem at your own risk.
