Ted Kennedy put that project under the federal budget. I've regretted it ever since I found out.
The Kennedy's are all scum.
No need for a link sleuth, I trust you and your memory.
Thanks, I am terrible about finding old articles that I have read.
BUMP!
Question: Do the Kennedy's have a vested interest in the oil company?
That is the 64,000 dollar question.
Yes, the Kennedy's own oil companiaes. The oil companies have drilled for oil in 4 American states.
The names are: Artic Oil,Kenoil Oil, and Mokeen Oil Company.
The family made millions when the oil companies struck a large deposit in the McAllen Field in Hidalgo County, TX and another large well found in Louisiana.
Ted Kennedy wrote legislation which gave tax breaks to small oil companies which includes his family's oil companies.
What's more, the family has figured out a way to largely avoid paying corporate taxes on their oil profits altogether. In 1985 the family came up with the ingenious idea: Convert their corporate oil holdings to a so-called "royalty trust". So now they don't even pay income taxes on the income from the oil companies. Nifty, huh?

Oh my gosh!!! Why aren't Republicans making commercials out of this information? And holding press conferences?
And they should add this information as well:
The Kennedy family owns 3 oil companies and Teddy-boy wrote legislation favorable to small companies so his company got huge tax breaks. Then the family put the companies into royalty trusts and they don't even pay income taxes on the income from the oil companies.
Probably afraid the press would twist it against them. Although that excuse wears thin awfully quickly.
Intersting stuff on the Kennedy oil fields. Especially Hidalgo Co.
I thought the oil industry was big and bad and horrible as far as libs are concerned. I guess Kennedy oil is good and kind and wonderfully different than anybody else's oil. Yeah, that must be it...
So her husband isn't a creep after all?
I think he's a creep too, but I'm just pointing out that his ex-wife is no defender of the marriage bond either. BTW she also said in interviews that she still voted for Joe. This web site lists her as a dissenter.
