"Sheeple" as I use it, is a rather affectionate, yet realistic characterization for the vast majority of my fellow Americans.
They are not political junkies as most Freepers are. Today, a few may have a vague awareness that Presidential politics is heating up. Most have no idea what any of the contenders stand for.
They will truly not favor anyone until the TeeVee commercials begin.

Although I agree that most people are not political junkies, with possibly the exception of John McCain, Rudy is probably the best known candidate.
One thing worth mentioning.
Many conservatives support Rudy knowing they don't agree with some of his positions, but they have made a conscious decision that he is a strong leader and tough on terror and those are the qualities they're looking for in the race against Hillary.
