"This thread is a wonderful demonstration why FR has sunk into the gutter and is more proof that BDS is a real, mental condition."
Amen, you would think that the first sign that you might be on the wrong side of an issue is that Dianne Feinstein is one of your cheerleaders.

Look around..you are in the minority on this issue.
Over 300,000 people have petitioned Bush and over 70 Representatives and YOU think WE are all nuts? LOL.

This thread is a wonderful demonstration why FR has sunk into the gutter and is more proof that BDS is a real, mental condition. So you are a complacent gutter dweller?

She wouldn't be onboard with this unless she sees an opportunity to tar the administrationEgg-sactly. The 'rats have laid low a few days waiting for this issue to take shape. It now is becoming clear that it has all the ingredients for a scandal which can do massive political damage to the apparently clueless president. He really doesn't seem to see this coming. He is mired on the wrong side of the issue, and as conservatives' anger is building toward high heat, the 'rats will be more than happy to throw a few logs on the fire.

You got that right,,She's an opportunists,,short and simple..

She wouldn't be onboard with this unless she sees an opportunity to tar the administration. We have a winner!
However it's time for President Bush to do what is best, whether it supports Feinstein's agenda or not.
I'm confident that he will.

Wow, my view of Feinstein will have to evolve. I think she actually gets it.

Look, Bush has just about begged to be beat about the head with the amnesty issue, so why be surprised when people take their thirty wacks?
To: feinswinesuksass
What's your take on all this?
To: SwinneySwitch
Every couple of years, Feinstein says or does something a respectable conservative should have done first. Diane hit all the salient points, and the SOB's had better comply!
To: SwinneySwitch
I am surprised. Maybe she has second thoughts on open border. I hope she has changed her position from last year when she was all for illegal aliens and amnesty. If so, more power to her. I believe the only Democrats to vote against that bill, which amounted close to treason, were Byrd, Nelson, and Stabenow.

Reading between the lines, based on some of the direct questions she is asking, I see something taking shape.
It may be that Aldrete was under the supervision of the AUSAs office at the time of his second arrest for drug smuggling. It appears that this information was withheld from the defense counsel.

Well, then shame on Bush and the rest of our pathetic Reublican Congress for not doing more to stop this travesty. They deserve to be raked over the coals for this and if it takes Dems to get them to pay attention to the plight of these guys, then so be it! I don't care what her reasons are. And isn't it great that we can't ever find any way to give credit where credit is due? Just like the DUmmies.

I am certainly no fan, far from it, but good for DiFi.
Memo to self: send along a rare thank-you note to DiFi.

"My gut reaction is that she and the Dems are going to use this to bash Bush and that is the only reason for her speaking out." I don't care! I just want Compean and Ramos freed!

I wouldn't watch her, hillary, pelosi or fonda commit suicide.

Do you believe it is appropriate, and good policy, for our government to reward an informant who provides information only about his interactions with federal agents who tried to arrest him, but refuses to provide any information about people who hired him to traffic drugs, or who are openly discussing the murder of American law enforcement officers?(Insert all manner of cuss words)
Good question.
