I did not impugn her in any way. I am from Ca. originally and have followed her for years. I simply question her motives based on what I know of her past. We'll see in time if she does something true to her words or just use this a grandstanding issue.

Again I hope she does get something accomplished for these guys. It certainly does not to appear that there was any justice served in this case (except for the illegal )

My gut reaction is that she and the Dems are going to use this to bash Bush and that is the only reason for her speaking out.

Generally, I'm against Bush-bashing, but on pretty much all immigration issues, the Bush administration has brought it on themselves.

I was thinking, maybe some of the agents family members petitioned the Senator to take up their cause. I don't know, but perhaps one of the families of the agents lives in California. If so, it would make sense for Feinstein to come to the aid of one of her constituents
