And YES, on this one issue - LIBERTY - I am a 1-issue voter. If you don't trust us, then why should we trust you?Unfortunately, supporting liberty doesn't really get you very far in politics these days.

I don't trust him. If the Repubs nominate him, I won't vote for him.

This guy's "understanding" of the Second Amendment gives me the creeps.

Well, thank you! You get a pat on the back for that. But remember -- the milk and cookies in the fridge are for the Beaver only.

Methinks you are onto something here.
I have been waiting for this to become an example of how gun control works.
It was not controlling guns that limited crime in NYC (after all, how does taking them from law abiding citizens accomplish this?), it was controlling people.
If you arrest every person who does something illegal, such as jumping a turnstile, it is not unlikely that you will bag people who are carrying guns for criminal purposes, drugs, or stolen goods. Removing these people who evidence disdain for the laws is what controls crime.
Unfortunately, what passes for logic in some minds will continue to assert that it was removing the guns that accomplished the goal.

He is not demonstrating anything except that everything he knows about the 2nd Ammendment he learned from Al Gore or the Brady Bunch with this quote.
His "hunting" remark is very distrubing. It could have been written by the Gore campaign or the Brady Bunch. He must be closely questioned about his opinion of the Blumberg admininstration's use of illegal "straw purchasers" to try to put legitimate gun dealers out of business. Right now my support's tending to move toward Romney, especially because of Rudy's "hunting" remark. McCain's an utterly unacceptable anathema nut case.

McCain's an utterly unacceptable anathema nut case. He's a bit strange, but he isn't in unacceptable anathema category, for me personally.
The 'gang of 14' thing was irritating, but didn't cause real harm.
