He can win--plain and simple..

i'd rather sacrifice on the abortion issue, than hear the words President Hillary Clinton or President Barack Obama

besides, he'd appoint more Scalias and Alitos, which means that the only thing the President can substantially affect change on the abortion issue (other than bully pulpit) we can safely place our trust in him..

I am no Rudybot, I am a Reagan Republican, and I don't see that in McCain or anyone else. Like it or not, Duncan Hunter is not ready to be POTUS..

He needs to be stopped from believing that selecting "strict constructionist" judges is enough to buy off the social conservatives.

And what exactly are we afraid of? I won't speak for others, but for myself I fear that if he gets the nomination, the pro-life cause, and the movement to stop the homosexual Juggernaut, and second amendment rights, will be removed from presidential politics, and from the national debate. We cannot let this happen.

"And speaking as an Evangelical I support Rudy wholehartedly. (And Pat Robertson likes him too)"

Wow, that Pat Robertson endorsement is enough to make me run the other way! LOL! You may claim be an "Evangelical" but you certainly aren't following Scriptures if you endorse an abortionist and a proponent of homosexual civil unions or marriages. Sorry, you have zero credibility.

>> Here's another one [blast from the past]

ROFL! It reads *exactly* like the Giuliani threads! You could do a search-and-replace on candidate names and I'll bet you couldn't tell the 1998 threads from the 2007 ones!

BTW, thanks for the "google" tip. I spend half my life on google yet it didn't occur to me to craft a FR-specific search (slapping forehead). I was "stuck on stupid" trying to make the FR search feature do it.

The FR search features - yes, there are a few ways to conduct them - are pretty darn good if one knows how to use them, but I'm pretty sure they're limited to finding only those threads posted after 9/11/01. ....so Google/Yahoo is essentially for digging up the oldies.

You said :"Show me one lie." I SHOWED you "one lie". Want to go for two?

Now you are whinging and whining all over the place. Should I call you a whaaaaaaaaaamobile?

If this is "essentialy (sic) irrelevant", which are you very words, then WHY keep repeating the LIE and posting the pictures?

Someone who repeatedly posts lies, IS a...........LIAR! Don't want the correct label? Then don't LIE! It really is as simple as that.

Fiscal Responsibility Rudy Giuliani inherited a $2.3 billion dollar budget deficit and turned it into a multi-billion dollar surplus, while cutting taxes and delivering balanced budgets

What about the massive increase in NYC's debt load?

I'm not sure how serving on a committe qualifies you for anything more than serving on another committee.

The American people typically look for someone who has a proven record of success in an executive position. That's the reason why only two sitting senators have ever been elected to the Presidency.

And only one member of the House was. He was the majority leader and also senator-elect at the time as well as a successful Civil War general.

I mostly like Hunter, but you're kidding yourself if you think his candidacy is going anywhere.

they fail to meet the social conservative litmus test of Republican base

I said it on another thread earlier today -- Mark Levin said in his book on the courts that bringing the judiciary back to a place where it applies the laws and the constitution to cases, rather than invent law, if THE most important social issue of our time. On that score, Rudy should be acceptable to conservatives.

Giuliani cut more taxes than any Mayor in New York City history, reducing or eliminating 23 city taxes, saving individuals and businesses a cumulative $8 billion, while reducing New Yorkers' tax burden by nearly 20%. By the end of Giuliani's term in office, New Yorkers enjoyed their lowest tax burden in three decades, along with the creation of approximately 425,000 new private sector jo

Yep, definitely a "RINO." /s

"Giuliani's record stacks up pretty well against the first two levels Maslow's hierarchy of needs."

What did Maslow say about Freedom? Not a damn thing!

"Rudy Giuliani believes that "Public safety is a fundamental civil right…when you reduce crime, you restore people's freedom.""

BS! You don't reduce crime by rendering everyone the equivalent of a criminal.

Rudy on Freedom:

"Freedom is about authority. Freedom is about the willingness of every single human being to cede to lawful authority a great deal of discretion about what you do and how you do it."

Rudy Giuliani

Oh, now it's not an North American Union. It's Canada and Mexico wanting to conquer us.

Okay.

I'm just not sufficiently paranoid to converse with you. Sorry.

I noticed that too, they all spend so much times on Rudy threads they have no time to post anything on their candidates... perhaps because there is very little to say.
