LOL!
Darn that global warming!
I'm surprised Governor Spit knows how to find the National Guard and I'm surprised he's even aware that there is such a place as upstate.
WOW,,,,, That is some deep snow.
I wish I could go and help but all I have is a van.
Snowmobiles work better, or sometimes tanks (used for pulling stuck snow plows out of snowbanks).

This will lead to all kinds of info on the storm.
I spent 45 days at Ft Drum in 1982. Two weeks after getting married. Wow, was that good winter training. I got to pull two tanks out of ponds after they broke through the ice. (Don't drive onto snow that has no brush showing on top.) We called them fish tanks after we found fish inside when we thawed them out. There were about five feet of packed snow on the roads. Stop signs stuck up only a couple of feet.
i remember in the big storm back in the 90's we were snowed in for three days and the village wanted to dump the snow into the lake to get rid of it, but the DEC went nuts, so the village said fine and dumped it in all along the shore line where it melted into the lake anyway.
at least not in 60tons of armor... 8^)

You mean like tree tops?
What doe Al Gore have to say about Global Snowing?
I can't even imagine it!
Yep, but if the emergency is bad enough, it is only a matter of time before some Democrat decides to try and assert it as a fact, despite evidence to the contrary.
Nothing worth noting...about a foot total over the past two weeks, if that.
