FoxNews is reporting that Tony Snow is out defending Pelosi and her plane request and saying that the attacks on her are "unfair".

The PR operation in this White House is an embarassment. Even if you want to work with them on a few issues, there's no reason not to take a few hits at their armor where they're clearly vulnerable, or at the very least, don't say anything at all and let the Democrats do their defending on their own.

He should be asked to resign immediately. Threatening budget allocations while we have men and women dying in Iraq is outrageous.

IF almost all of these "government servants" were required to fly commercial, (not even private jets), then, and only then, would something actually be done to improve airport and airline security.

The only time a jet like that gets any real fuel economy is when it's fully loaded with paying passengers. I don't know how many passengers a jet like that can carry but I suspect that Nancy's gilded coach will ever see anything more than 1/3 capacity.

It's really quite affordable for her when the taxpayers will be footing the bill.
